Welsh football star Ramsey has raised the reward for leads concerning the vanished pet named Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff player, who now is with the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, stated that Halo was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato zone.

Halo, who vanished on 9 October, was equipped with a GPS collar, and Ramsey posted a map pinpoint of her last known location.

"Any updates regarding our Halo please contact us. Substantial bounty for finding her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and can be back to our family shortly," Ramsey shared on social media.

Initial Reward and Heartfelt Appeals

The footballer first revealed that Halo had disappeared two weeks ago and has since posted multiple pictures of the beloved canine on Instagram.

A $10,000 bounty was first announced, but with lack of updates on Halo's location after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones raised the sum.

"Our only wish is our pet returned," he said in an additional appeal on his online platforms after the elderly dog went missing.

A recent photograph upload is a grayscale image of the beagle napping, its head resting in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the description: "How I wish to hold you one last time sweet Halo."

Family's Anxieties and Context

The footballer has additionally posted a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media indicating they have some "important questions" surrounding the incident and fear the family "could possibly not obtain clarity".

"To this day we haven't found Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's post expressed.

The Wales captain signed with Mexican first division club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.
