Legal authorities claim that the accused participated in wire-fraud conspiracy and ran a sophisticated money laundering scheme.

International Sanctions and Property Seizures

In the coordinated effort, the US and UK authorities have applied restrictions on Mr Chen's companies and seized properties associated with his organization.

The UK government allegedly froze numerous properties in London, including a approximately £100m commercial property.
